I don't think I've shown this yet on my blog. Last fall, I commissioned my friend, Theresa mARTin, to make this stage featuring my Mom as an angel. Mom died of breast cancer in 1991. She was an angel in life and she is, for sure, one now. Here she is featured in her wedding finery in 1951. Theresa did an absolutely wonderful job on this. It sits across from me in my studio, where I can look at it all day long, and I appreciate it immensely. Thank you so much Theresa!!!!*edited to add*: Theresa's husband John Mors is a sculptor. This is a picture that she took, in her home, atop one of his tables. He has some fabulous art work. Go look!

Wow, what a wonderful memorial to your mother! She makes a beautiful angel, and I'm sure she is still watching over you each and every day. Theresa did a lovely job with this piece.
