Hermia and the Fairies

My pages for Lucinda's book in an Artistic Journey in Color. The Puck and Bottom image is a vintage postcard that I scored on ebay, as is the little leather book cover and the pages that I ripped out and used here and there. The vintage lace overhangs both edges, but got cut off in the scan. I experimented with heating the varnish a bit and sprinkling it with UTEE... hit with the heat gun (gently) again. It worked like a charm... even on the Sookwang tape under the lace. I decided that it looked like stars and fairy dust.

I hid a little birdie on it, just for her. We have a bird thing going on.
