Another last minute fill-in for a fat book on paper whimsy. "Once Upon a Page"- a fat book on fairy tales. The sparrows think the roses are totally useless and are constantly carping on them. Meanwhile the roses just keep sending out their beauty and are happy and accepting of everyone. The sparrows, incidentally end up dead. The roses last forever.
I am not overly happy with this. It was literally done in a weekend. For someone that agonizes over every placement of every object and has huge glue commitment issues - that is lightening fast. It is nightmarishly fast. However I was happy to do it for my friend that felt she owed the participants the promised number of pages even though some had dropped out. Several people, including her, doubled up and came through in the pinch.
I just realized that I forgot to scan the embellished version. Oh well.
I think I may have some scanner issues happening as the printing was not as crisp and clear as usual. I will have to figure that out and fix it. Once is a fluke. More than that is under delivery of goods. tsk tsk. Not good.

Bev these pages are gorgeous! But that is true of all your art.
