Birthday card for a friend. Its a draped corset but the scan doesn't show it too well. The all important weekly checklist for all perfect women in the 50s including brushing your hair 100 strokes nightly, weekly weigh-in (no wonder we all have so many image issues) and the weekly bath. (ew) Its a rubberbaby stamp. I'm so sad they are gone. Paula had such fun stuff. (if you're whacked, like me that is)

Paper Whimsy image transfer on copper mesh, sealed with Dorlands wax. Cerulean blue gouache and copper and navy lumiere paints.
8x10 Collage - on 140lb watercolor paper and lots of acrylic washes. My dads life - overlayed with a transparency printed with his university grad picture (Golden gel medium - matte). Done for his 80th birthday this August. "You are never too old to set a new goal or dream a new dream" (
